Pastor’s Message

The Pastor’s Message

I greet you with the greeting of the apostle Paul to the early church, “Grace and Peace, Zion!”  I’m excited that you have visited Zion’s website because God is doing so many great things in our church family.  We are connecting every day to God’s Word and to each other through our Zoom Prayer Line ministry which starts and ends the day at 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. with scripture, devotion and prayer.  We’re seeing people grow in their knowledge of the Bible with our, “Get In The Word,” Bible reading plan. Each week we as a church are reading different books of the Bible together and then meeting up on Wednesdays in person and on Zoom to discuss the exciting and life-changing lessons we’re learning together.  Our Sunday worship services are at 11:00 a.m. and Zion is a dynamic worship experience with Biblical preaching to impact people’s families and individual lives.

If you’re looking for a church home with a relevant, Biblical perspective on life, Zion is for you. If you feel the need for deeper connection with God’s Word and God’s people, Zion is for you.  If you are looking for a place to make a difference in your life and in the community, Zion is for you.  Join us this Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in person or on livestream and let the Lord speak to you and your family.

  • Here are some final ideas to continue to be the church during a crisis:

    • Check in on each other via phone, email, text, etc…

    • Call the pastor at 267-784-8606 or your Deacon with any questions

    • Get involved with the Prayer Line and Facebook Live ministries.

    • Stay flexible; we will be coming up with new ways to do things like communion, 7 Last Words, etc…. We’re going to get through it because the word says, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31.

    Sincerely,

The Rev. Dr. Ernest R. Flores
