Worship

WE BELIEVE THAT THERE IS NOTHING THAT WE CAN EVER DO TO DESERVE GOD’S LOVE IN OUR LIVES. WE GIVE HONOR TO GOD BY THE EVIDENCE OF TRULY WORSHIPING HIM BY PRAISE THROUGH MUSIC, DANCE, AND OTHER WAYS OF CELEBRATION.

Baptisms

Through baptism, we share what God has done in our lives, and we commit to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

The word “baptize” means to dip or immerse under water. When a person is baptized, it represents his or her identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. It is an outward symbol of a person’s faith and decision to be a committed Christ-follower.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
- 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

Child Dedications

Child dedication is not baptism and not christening. It doesn’t guarantee a child’s salvation, but publicly expresses that the child belongs to God.

Everything we have belongs to God! All good and perfect gifts come from Him. Dedication, or “setting apart” of children unto God is one of parents’ first acts of leadership. Dedication is more than a ritual. It’s a commitment for parents to honor the will and the Word of God.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

James 1:17 (NKJV)
